Preview the new LYMMO Grapefruit Line Friday, April 11 until 6 PM and Saturday, April 12 from 10 AM until 10 PM. Regular service for the LYMMO Grapefruit Line begins Sunday, April 13.
On Friday, January 31, U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx visited Orlando to highlight public transportation’s role in strengthening the local economy and creating the kind of ladders of opportunity that President Obama called for in his State of the Union address. While in Orlando, Secretary Foxx toured the nearly complete East-West Circulator Bus Rapid Transit project and took part in a brief press conference with U.S. Representatives Corinne Brown and Alan Grayson, local officials and community members.
On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, Leaders of the City of Orlando and LYNX unveiled the Lymmo Expansion Project. The expansion will provide frequent and free transit services to 22 destinations in the downtown area including Thorton Park, Parramore, the Creative Village and future Downtown SunRail stations.
